What customers say?

“ A bit on the expensive side. One of the best Portuguese food in Lisbon. Everything is done to perfection. They have taken typical Portuguese recipes but the flavor is much more elevated. ”

“ This restaurant was packed but we were lucky to have a table. The mushroom was stuffed with mayonnaise and baked. Really good to start our dinner with. Cured ham was aged 4 years and was excellent. The main dish we ordered was shark soup which is one of the most famous Alentejo dishes. This was phenomenal and never forgettable taste. Fried pork with potato and clam was also great. Amazingly seasoned and super tender. The service was very nice and she was very patient to answer all the questions we had. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back. ”

“ Went here with family on a Monday night and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant’s new location, which they moved into in September, is absolutely beautiful, with wooden panel walls that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent—we were greeted immediately by multiple friendly staff members, and our waiter was attentive and personable throughout the evening. The food was incredible, especially the seafood. While a lot of the fish dishes we initially wanted weren’t available (likely because it was a Monday, which we later learned isn’t the best day for fresh seafood), the dishes that were available—like ameijoas a bulhao pato, shark soup, and squid—were outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also discovered after our visit that this restaurant is primarily known for its alentejo-style cuisine, which focuses more on meat dishes. But as seafood lovers, we were still blown away by the quality of what we had. All in all, a wonderful dining experience that I’d definitely recommend! ”
